Intrusion detection system – Network-Based

Sistemi di rilevazione delle intrusioni che identificano gli attacchi prendendo e analizzando i pacchetti di rete. Seguendo o scambiando un segmento della rete, un sistema di rilevazione delle intrusioni basato sugli host può monitorare il traffico di rete che riguarda diversi host che sono collegati al segmento della rete.
